Brian Ben Taylor- Art Show

Come view original oil paintings by Maryland artist Brian Ben Taylor at his Art Show opening on Saturday, September 9th. He features several pieces, many of which are of Cylburn Arboretum, and his work will be on display and for sale until his closing on October 8th in the Mansion. Mr. Taylor will be avilable to meet and speak at the opening, as well as by appointment at 410-591-6112
“Chamber Music at Cylburn” is dedicated to the exploration and performance of rarely heard chamber music repertory. The mansion’s renovated salon on the first floor has ideal acoustics and inspiring surroundings, which provides the perfect environment for a chamber music series. The concerts are sponsored by The Maryland State Arts Council, LifeBridge Health, Jordan Kitt’s Music, and WBJC 91.5FM.
Cylburn Chamber Music Series Sunday, September 10th 3 - 5 p.m.
Cost: $20/adult 7 $12/student or child.
The Cylburn Arboretum Association proudly presents its second season of 'Chamber Music at Cylburn" with its first concert on Sunday, September 10th in the salon of the Cylburn Mansion. The concert features baritone Ryan de Ryke and pianist Eva Mengelkock in a performance of Franz Schubert's song cycle Die Schone Mullerin. The concert will be preceded at 3 p.m. by a lecture with musicologist and Peabody faculty member John Gingerich. Order Form for Tickets

Cylburn Chamber Music Series Sunday, October 8th, 3 - 5 p.m.
"Chamber Music at Cylburn" will have its second concert on Sunday, October 8ith in the salon of the Mansion. This concert features the Dobner - Piitz Piano-Duo in perfomances of Shcubert's Fantasy in F-Minor and Grieg's Norwegian Dances, and introdudes the newly established Cylburn-Trio as "Trio-in-Residence at Cylburn". Trio members violinist Kenneth Goldstein, cellist Ilya Finkelshteyn, and pianist Eva Mengelkoch will present Brahms' Trio in C-Minor and Schubert's Notturno. The concert will be preceded at 3 p.m. by a lecture by WBJC's program director Jonathan Palevsky.
